EPG played a key role in planning and delivering the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Athletes Village, which hosted over 6,600 athletes and officials. Spanning 29 hectares, the Village featured 18 residential buildings and facilities catering to 18,000 meals a day. 

EPG was contracted to provide consultancy services in Village Operations and Athletes Village Catering. Services included developing a Levels of Service document, creating a Concept of Operations, refining the Village Contract Packaging Plan, and assisting in procurement strategy development. 

For catering services, EPG helped finalize the caterer’s master plan and performed an assurance role during the Games, overseeing performance and providing recommendations to GOLDOC for operational improvements.
