The 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, USA, is considered one of the most dynamic and successful Winter Games in history. Over 2,400 athletes from 78 nations competed across ten venues. 

EPG played a key role in the Food & Beverage team, commencing well before the operational period. EPG assisted the local organizing committee in selecting suitable Venue Catering Contractors.

EPG’s involvement included providing expert advice into catering facility design, assessing the local market for suitable catering companies, and developing Scope of Work requirements for each venue. 

EPG also played a pivotal role in catering at the Athletes Village at the University of Utah and sponsor services at Rice-Eccles Stadium, the venue for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
