EPG played a key role in England’s success during the 2013 Ashes series by assisting the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in reviewing its facilities. The ECB engaged EPG to assess the suitability of its grounds for International Cricket Council (ICC)-sanctioned matches as part of their 2010-2013 ‘Grounds to Play’ strategic plan, which focused on enhancing facilities, environment, and participation.

EPG conducted a physical survey and operational audit of the ECB’s facilities, using the ICC technical manual to complete a gap analysis. Recommendations were provided for necessary upgrades to ensure compliance with ICC standards. Additionally, EPG identified potential revenue opportunities that were not being fully utilized by the ECB’s facilities.
