Founded in 1894, the International Olympic Committee (IOC), based in Lausanne, Switzerland, oversees the modern Summer and Winter Olympic Games. The IOC appointed EPG to provide consultancy services to its internal operations, venues, and infrastructure departments. 

As part of this agreement, EPG was selected to provide technical analysis for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games candidate bids, joining the IOC Technical Evaluation Committee advisory team. The project involved visiting the candidate cities – Stockholm and Milan/Cortina – to conduct a detailed review and assessment of their bid files. 

Leveraging our extensive Olympic Games expertise, EPG offered expert assessments on various operational, village, and infrastructure elements of the bids. Our input helped inform the IOC’s evaluation reports, supporting their decision-making process for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
