In August 2017, Taipei hosted the 29th Summer Universiade, a multi-sport event for university students, with over 7,500 athletes from 113 countries. EPG provided Catering Management Consultancy Services for the operations of the Athletes Village. 

EPG’s strategic and operational planning ensured successful catering services, earning praise from local government and the ‘Australian Taiwan Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award,’ as well as being presented an appreciation award from the Mayor of Taipei. 

Key activities included project scope development, menu development, catering service provider selection, risk planning, workforce management, facility design, and supply chain planning.
