EPG was contracted by UK Sport to provide specialist assistance in reviewing the draft Security Budget for a major international sports event feasibility study. The scope involved assessing the safety and security budget documentation, comparing it to the hosting requirements of the International Governing Body and UK benchmark standards for past mega events. 

EPG developed a reliable cost model for various budget items, leveraging market understanding and experience to calculate security-related costs, including physical security systems, screening equipment, temporary overlay, and stadium safety stewarding.  

We also provided expert guidance on critical costs such as police, Ministry of Defence, and private contract security through a gap analysis of the budget estimates.
